on saturday, ashley (and a couple of other lovely ladies) put together a blogger meetup in central park. bryan and i got to the city a bit early and walked from port authority to sheep's meadow park, stopping along the way for watermelon and peppers and a big bottle of beer for bryan. it was actually perfect timing, since we got to central park at the same time as a bunch of the other ladies and were able to follow them to the meetup spot.
i want to look like kelsey when i grow up. she came all the way from new zealand, traveling across the united states from san francisco.
some pretty ladies chatting away, and my fellow philly gal hannah. if you haven't checked out hannah's blog yet, i highly suggest you get on that asap. she's (obviously) super cute and has great style, and is the most down to earth person ever. oh, and she's hilarious.

hannah's luxurious red locks. fun fact: when i was little, i got one of those american girl dolls that you make to look like you (eye color, skin color, etc.). i made one with red hair and blue eyes. wishful thinking!

i kid. they were a men's swim team that was trying to raise money for new speedos or whatever, and went around central park serenading ladies with hopes of getting a couple of bucks. i gave them a dollar because i can't even imagine the cojones (no pun intended) that you'd need to walk around a public park in essentially nothing.

rebecca had on the cutest floral dress.

i love that striped skirt! it was from topshop awhile ago, but i think i might be able to scour the internets for similar fabric and make one.

thanks so much for organizing the picnic, ashley and erin and rebecca and emily! i had a blast.
